HELP shivering isle bounty HELP!!

i finish the main quest line for shivering isle. so i started to do side quests.
in one i had to kill half of the people in a settlement. i got cot while killing some one so i went to the city to pay. but i get to 2 options go with the guard or kill them, if go with them im sent to a remote place and nothing happens??.
if i killdem i get more bounty.

i tried to rest in the area for a while but still nothing happens

please help!!

You don't have enough money. The remote place you are sent to is jail. You can serve your time or if you are strong enough you can escape. (Look out for buttons on the pillars and walls) If you manage to escape apparently, according to the splash screens, your crime is forgiven. If you want to try escaping I'd make a back up just before in case it is useless. I had a look around and there are some weapons near your cell you can grab to help before you face any enemies. If you've completed the expansions main quest escaping should be easy.

hmmm you see i have more gold thats is needed but i dont get the option to pay.

if i go with the guard they take me outside. in mania i go to some ruin but is not the prison is in the open. in dementia they take me to the graveyard but not the prison where one most escape.

and if i fight i get more bounty.

is not normal.

I really only had a look at shivering Isles for the first time the other day the other day and I wasn't taking anything seriously. Therefore I'm afraid I cannot help any further.

if anyone happens to finds some code to lower the bounty in shivering isle please tell me ive ben waiting for some very very long time in the game and nothing happens...
