Installing mods

I'm new to morrowind and would like to know how to install mods.
I've downloaded a couple of mods,but don't know how to use ace files or ase files.what program do I need to open and install the ACE files for hair changes or faces ect?

Ralph - I use WinRAR to open ACE files.

Emma's Elder Scrolls Forum :: View topic - A safe way to install a mod in less than 1 minute! (this is actually my preferred method)

Also, try doing a Search in The Elderscrolls III Forum here at Game Banshee, a lot of people have asked questions about installing mods so there is a fair amount of information.

In terms of extraction, I highly recommend Zip Genius. It is free and handles most formats
