Problem with importing dualclasses

Hello,

I was testing what characters would be best for going thru the game with 2 ppl. So I created one of them (a kensai/mage) and was leveling him and equipping him thru console to see how would he progress. Brought him up to some Kensai lvl12 / mage lvl 14 at which point I exported him for my mate to look at. However, after importing this character to a different save he had totally different statistics (2 points worse AC and worse thac0) I even tried to import him to the very save he was exported from. To my surprise I was starring at two completely same characters with exactly same abilities and same amount of exp yet so different AC and thac0 scores... My first thought was, that the import recognizes the character as plain fighter/mage and not kensai/mage and hence the AC/THAC0 shortage. I would like to verify this, because my other theory is that leveling thru console might work differently than in actual game and logically, I need to know which of the two im gonna end up with.

The first one is before export and the bottom one is after import. Both are stripped of all articles of equipment. Note the THAC0 and AC differences.

Hmmm... looks like what you say is correct one of the characters is denied the four THAC0 bonus he should have at level 12 and the two AC bonuses from the class as well. This has never happened to me before. Try it with other characters and see what happens, also, make sure you're fully patched if you aren't already.

Same thing was happening with the second character - swashbuckler/cleric, who was missing the THAC0 and AC bonuses of swashbuckler. However, patching ToB to 26498 seems to have done the trick and imported characters seem to retain their original stats... not sure why didnt i try that before starting to panic.
