Companions

Post by joe05 »

Well we went to Ebonheart in order to get to Mournhold ... need the get the DB assassins off my back :)

To my surprise my companion did not follow :(
This really puts a damper on my use of companions.

Are all the companions scripted just for Morrowind.
Do any follow to Tribunial and Bloodmoon ?
If some can travel to Bloodmoon; which ones.

Would have to re-think about using them Or just the travel companions from Morrowind Comes Alive.
Since none will go to games end, I'm questioning the usage of any and limiting myself to just one ... was really looking forward to taking one companion from start to finish :(

I have to re-do in order to check the other companions, as I don't have them installed ... so I figure best to ask to see "what's what"

Sorry for another compamion post = this caught me totally by surprise

DW - thanks for the tips in the other thread

Well, I can't speak for others but I'm almost certain all of the companion mods found on Emma's site can travel to Mournhold.
Another thing you can check into is Emma's VTA mod. It is a travel mod which allows you to buy rings that transport you and any companions all over the main island, Solstsheim and Mournhold.

Now, I can't say for sure it will work with the MCA companions, but if I'm really feeling lazy about an escort quest it happily transports even in-game NPCs. Plus I've used it for horses and the like
So, check it out, those rings could be the answer to your troubles:

The script that takes you to Mournhold only refers to the PC and it's impossible to tweak it to transport any NPC without anything external and most probably yet to be invented. However, it would be possible to add a travel option to allow paid transport between the cities. This would take me a few minutes to make if you're interested.

DW - thanks.
ML - I found a Mournhold Teleportation fix ?
Let me see if it will work with the Companion Project companions I made.
I think the mod maker also made Arya ?

If I can transport to Mournhold, does that mean boat travel to Solstheim will work.

Thanks for the help.
