Qara's prismatic spray damaging party?

Hi, I'm having a bit of trouble as ever since Qara has got prismatic spray she keeps casting it and killing all the other characters including my own in the party. I tried setting the difficulty to easy to see if that would help (the whole, area effect spells not damaging your party thing) but am still getting killed. It's to the point where i can't defeat even a few goblins. Is there a way to disable single spells from your party members cast group without turning off casting altogether or do i have to wait to level up to remove the spell? If so is there any form of a hack i can use to just remove that one spell?

That sounds like a bug.

I can't say I have this problem. I believe you can unselect that skill in her next level up.

But I do not think that is the solution. Perhaps you would like to get the game update?

I think it was just a patching issue, i updated to the next patch and swapped her in and out of my party and as far as i can see it's stopped happening. Thanks for the help!
