Urgently need help with Daedric quest 14 (Vaermina) I need a Black soul stone, currently on level 34, I have completed every minor and all factions quest except this and final deadric quest.
So far I have never needed to use soul stones so have no idea what to do with them, I’ve tried putting them (Grand stone) into the ALTAR, both a 80 and 500 value then casting 4 different spells a spell trap soul (Touch) a major soul trap (Target) and 2 scolls same levels as spells, I’ve tried every hour at three different altar site, when the beam is hovering over the altar but it still does not turn Black!
I’ve also tried visiting every major Necromancer lair for treasure which has come up short!
Anybody out there who can point me in the right direction or knows a house or place please please help

The only thing I can suggest is to make sure the Grand Soulgem is empty, it wont work on filled ones.

Try using our search function. Black soul stones, and how to get them, has been discussed before. This will save you time waiting for an answer, and the site owner won't allow duplicative threads in the database, anyway.
