Stupid Component Question

Ok, so this question is a little silly, but bare with me.

Where can I get components from, other than breaking down items? Can't I buy them from somewhere? I desperately need components for the lightsaber upgrades, but I sell most of the stuff I find (I need the credits).

Any help would be much appreciated.

If you want Credits go to Korriban and loot everything that's the best place but you get attacked if you loot the corpse by big lizard like things.

As far as I know, there's no-one who actually sells components, no. But of course you can buy them indirectly, since almost everything you can buy can be broken down into components.

Another useful trick is to put one some items which boost your repair skill before breaking things down; you'll increse the number of components you receive.
