;) Hi all fellow nwn 2 gamers. I am looking for any other tips in act III, I am sort of stuck, looking for the Torm book or whatever and by the way, what on earth is the key I found in my desk for? What do I have to do to find the final shard? :D Hey just a few fun hints, if someone does not mind......Hey, when you go through the game again, does it really let you pick a prestige class? Is is any different? Thanks and hey have a great weekend, Mary Beth, a newbie here.:speech:

I found the walkthrough on this site to be very helpful in times when I got stuck or couldn't find something so try going there.

As far as prestige classes go, yes you can pick them during your campaign game (but you can't start with one), just make sure you meet the requirements for the prestige class you want to pick. They give you certain benefits that you couldn't get otherwise, but of course you have to give up levels in your base class in order to pick a prestige class. So it's a trade off, but certain prestige classes are well worth the trade off.

There are many examples of good combinations of base classes + prestige classes. Although some base classes are better if you stay with them for all 20 levels, For example Warlock or Monk are not good classes to start with if you want to pick a prestige class later.

The tips you are asking for could be potential spoilers, so I think you should include that your forum thread could contain spoilers in the title...
