Post by demigame »

i play a wizard and cast a fireball, it damage 20~25 hit points on each enemy.

i use qara to cast a fireball too, it damage 25~30 hit points .

we have the same character's or class level., and we have the same feat 'spell penetrate'

is that sorcerer's spell stronger than a wizard ?

Are you a pure wizard or a multiclass? The power depends on casting level.

Another thing I can think of is this...Fireball allows a reflex save to take half damage (or none if they have evasion). Quara has some spell focus feats in evocation. Fireball's school is evocation. That spell focus gives the enemies a penalty on saves so they are more likely to miss the saving throw (and take full damage)
Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.

Yes, you are right sir,

i didn't have that feat spell focus (evocation), i think this is the reason.

thanks,

No, sorcs should do more damage but they don't.

The difference must be from that feat, as said.
