about Eldritch Knight.

Post by demigame »

hello: i read this...

Eldritch Knight
Studying the martial and arcane arts to equal degrees, the eldritch knight is a versatile combatant who can cast a fireball on her foes or charge them with sword drawn. Eldritch knights split their time between physical training to become better soldiers and arcane study to learn more powerful spells. They tend to be driven individuals, because simultaneously perfecting their spellcasting and combat prowess requires immense time and effort.

· Arcane Spellcasting: At each level (except 1st level) an eldritch knight gains new spells per day, plus another effective casting level, as if he progressed in an arcane spellcasting class that he had prior to becoming an eldritch knight.

i am a wizard 5 /eldritch knight 10 ..
my question is these:
1.At each level (except 1st level) an eldritch knight gains new spells per day:
does it mean my character will auto random learn a new spell per day?

2.how is the game run the time? sometime i stay for a long time and it still daylight, sometime alwayse night. i also try many time to rest (Press R);
my charachter still did not learn new spell.

It means that he gains extra spell slots in which to use spells - so the number of spells he can cast per day at that level and the level of spells which he can cast is the same as if he was a wizard of the same level. You will need to learn spells in the same way as you would as a wizard (such as from scrolls).

1. Yeah he will get new spell slots and you get to pick a few spells from the list as well. As mentioned, you must learn the rest of the spells at each level from scrolls.

2. I don't know, does it matter? You need to click on the spell from your book so it appears in the memorized list. Once you rest, you can use the quick-cast bar (press F) to cast spells.
