Favorite City?

Post by TheAmazingOopah »

In which of the cities that you encounter in Baldur's Gate would you most like to live? Is it in one of the country quiet huts in Nashkel? Like the big hustling world of the main capital? Or do you have a thing for halflings or xvarts after all? Let me know!

Reality: Except Detroit, I'm a big city lover.

Escapism: finally making it to Chapter 5, and at long last entering the fabled title city where the fate of the Sword Coast would be decided, was one of my favorite gaming moments.

I voted Baldur's Gate.

Candlekeep would be great to chill at in the summertime. Avoid dudes named Koveras, as well as any changlingssss.

Nashkel's Carnival would be hip-hop-n-happenin' too. Beware the Great Gazib! (Oopah is cool.)
Why is it that whenever I finally get around to playing a new game for the first time,
I feel like playing Baldur's Gate for the second time...

Baldur's Gate was the first time I entered a major city in any game. I felt like it stretched for miles and miles with countless houses to explore. priceless

Baldurs Gate and the TEAMING THRONGS of people! :D
The problem is that the people with the most ridiculous ideas are always the people who are most certain of them.

Beregost is that nice town which is near all the other towns, kinda like a hub...besides, it is near High Hedge, too.

I've always like Nashkel a lot, with Baldur's Gate second. I don't like cities much, but when you experience that music for the first time, it's special ;) Especially since it took nearly two years for me to reach there with my irregular playing and regular restarting.
