switching arena raiment

When you first enter the arena, you are given a choice between Heavy or Light Raiment. Are you stuck with that choice, or can you pick up a set opposite of what you were given and wear that in the arena?

I don't mean switch in the middle of a fight either. I mean if I chose Heavy, and showed up for a match in Light, can I fight with that on?

Edit: I did search the forum, came up empty.

You can switch any time before you actually enter the arena door (there are 5 sets of each in the cabinet by the Blademaster, and 5 more of each in the cabinet by the Battle Matron, which is handy if you like to do multiple fights in the same day but your armorer skill isn't high enough to repair magic armor).

or, if you are not skilled enough in armorer, you can run across the street in the market district and have it repaired.
