Firstly: There is no reason to bump your own post, like this, when it has not moved off the first page. That is just rude.
Secondly: Bumps are generally unwanted unless they add something of relevance to the post/thread, which yours doesn't, and as such it is an irrelevant post, and as such actual falls in under the "no/limit spam" forum rule.
Lastly: people will answer the question if they can/want to - nobody is forced to answer. Posting like this, however, might discourage people from answering altogether.

I'm starting to warm up to the Ranger/Blackguard. You can call forth an animal companion, raise an undead servant, or summon a fiendish rat! Since I like the Ranger/Blackguard as the focus of this build the other classes are just to fill in the character to be an excelent scout. There are quite a few variations though.
Wood Elf - Keen Senses makes for a superior scout, Ranger is the favored class also.
Ranger(8)/Blackguard(9)/Rogue(1)/Other(2) - This character is an excelent scout. Swift Tracker, Rogue Trapfinding, and Keen Senses means you will know the location of every enemy and trap without slowing down. If you want Greater Two Weapon Fighting you will need 19 Dexterity, but that is good for Armor Class and Sneaking anyway.
Other(2) - Choosing the two other levels is a tough decision because there are alot of good options.
-Ranger- An extra level or ranger gives you evasion and a tougher animal companion.
-Rogue- An extra level of rogue gives you uncanny dodge. Also with one level of rogue you can get 13+ ranks in disable device (8+5 saved+Int bonus). With an extra level you can max it. Of course the Able Learner feat does this and enables you to invest in Open Locks also.
-Shadow Dancer- One level gives you Hide In Plain Sight. Another level gives you Uncanny Dodge and Evasion.
-Blackguard- An extra level gives you more sneak attack dammage and a little better turn undead.
-Assasin- One level gives you more sneak attack dammage and the chance to paralize (if they don't know anyone is there, including your companions).
-Cleric!!!- One level gives you two domains, which can be used for Uncany Dodge, Evasion, Feint, turning outsiders, or turning undead better. Very interesting.
Here is a chart of each combo (excluding cleric).
| Sneak |Uncanny|Evasion|Hide|
| Attack| Dodge ||inPS|
Ranger(8)/Blackguard(10)/Rogue(1)/Shadowdancer(1)| 4 d 6 | N | N | Y |
Ranger(8)/Blackguard(9)/Rogue(1)/Shadowdancer(2) | 3 d 6 | Y | Y | Y |
Ranger(8)/Blackguard(9)/Rogue(2)/Shadowdancer(1) | 3 d 6 | Y | N | Y |
Ranger(9)/Blackguard(9)/Rogue(1)/Shadowdancer(1) | 3 d 6 | N | Y | Y | My choice
Ranger(9)/Blackguard(9)/Rogue(2)| 3 d 6 | Y | Y | N |
Ranger(9)/Blackguard(10)/Rogue(1)| 4 d 6 | N | Y | N |
Ranger(9)/Blackguard(9)/Rogue(1)/Assasin(1)| 4 d 6 | N | Y | N |
Ranger(8)/Blackguard(10)/Rogue(1)/Assasin(1)| 5 d 6 | N | N | N |
Ranger(8)/Blackguard(9)/Rogue(2)/Assasin(1)| 4 d 6 | Y | N | N |
Ranger(8)/Blackguard(10)/Rogue(2)| 4 d 6 | Y | N | N |
Ranger(11)/Blackguard(9) - Strenght based dual weilding. Not going to be as stealthy or as great a scout because Dexterity is lower, but will deal more dammage for sure.
Ranger(6)/Blackguard(5)/Other(9) - This is very possible and gives you alot more from other classes. However, you loose Swift Tracker/spells, Turn Undead/Smite Good are weaker, and your summons (animal, fiend, and undead) are less powerful. For example:
Ranger(6)/Blackguard(5)/Rogue(8)/Shadowdancer(1) - One example of a rogue fully capable of dealing with locks, traps, and even pockets.
Lvl 20 is the lvl cap for now, but higher lvls can be reached in expasion packs like "NWN2: Mask of the betrayer". You can import your character from the oc to "Mask of the betrayer" and then reach lvl 40 (I think... But can't remember exact lvl cap). You have to be at a min lvl of 16 (or so). If you're not you'll get the xp needed for that lvl for free.Darth Spawn wrote:is lvl 20 the lvl cap or can you grow more lvls
Did I just roll 1 on a save vs. death? DANG! *>.<
