question on True name meeting

The guy that after act III starts bugs but the party keeps making him leave, when does he actually show up and tell you that sydney tatalle wants to meet you? after I finish the alliance quests?

They I remember it is he ends up just hanging around your keep and you can talk to him when you have time.

The alliance quests are optional I think and shouldn't have an effect on the true name quest.

Huh, Uh that's funny I don't see him anywhere. after he bugged the party twice he just ran off and now I don't see him at all.

You might have to travel away from Crossroad Keep one or two more times. I don't think it matters where you go, or even if you do anything (just travel and come back). Eventually, when you come back he will be next to wolf waiting to talk to you.

Well you talk to him the first time and then he bugs you again and then again after that he ran away and I didn't see him again but I went to highcliff and the Ironfist stronghold and I'll see if he's there but I don't know.

Nope he's not appearing no matter what I do. what the heck is wrong with this game. It's starting to try my patience.

Update: I figured it out that actually one of the alliance quests does have to be done to make him appear, the circle of the mere quest. I did all the others and he wasn't there, but after I did the circle of the mere he was there but only after that one.

That's how I remember it in my games. Apparently only that one triggers him for some reason. Glad it worked out for you (eventually
