Weird Magic

How come on one of my profiles I have to have Level 50 destruction skill for Finger of the Mountain spell. And then My other one needs 75 destruction skill and over 100 magic cost for the same spell this is very strange plz help.

migic cost i believe depends on your willpower or intelligence im pretty sure its willpower, on the account that you can do it at 50 destruction it is probably because it has higher willpower than your other one.

FOTM is a leveled quest reward - the higher level you are when you complete the quest, the more powerful the spell is. Also, for any given spell, as your skill in the related school of magic increases, it will cost less magicka to cast (so as your Destruction skill goes up, FOTM will require less magicka to cast).

weird indeed

i did the quest when i was level 20 or higher, don't remember well. when i went to get the spell the lightning was striking me dead, no matter what i did to boost my life or protect me. i left it alone an returned when i was level 29. i survived the lightning, barely, but the spell costs me some 2,700 points of magic.
