Spells that You Can't Live Without

Post by Ferrick »

I am a long time veteren of RPG's and the various incarnations that have come our way: Morrowind (of course!), BG1 and 2 + expansions (I still firmly believe that the expansion Tales of the Sword Coast from BG1 contains some of the finest CRPG material ever devised), NWN1 + expansions + some down right fantastic community mods, and then also the hack & slash variety like NOX, Dungeon Siege 1 & 2, and Divine Divinity (though this one is alittle bit more than H&S).

One thing I noticed about playing these games: There are a ton of spells but I find myself always relying on just a handful; they've become my favorite. Of course there are always those spells that seem useless... until someone mentions how they use such and such a spell and you think, "How come I never thought of that?"

Anyway, in Morrowind what spells do you find absolutely essential in your game play? I'll start and this is by no means all:

Levitate, Open, Water Breathing, Water Walking, Mark, Recall, Cure Blight Disease, Invisibility, Silence, and Fire and Frost Damage.

What are some of your's?

We already have a thread like this in the database. It's a good place to check if you want to add your comments, or just go for hints--and since the site owner doesn't want duplicative threads, this one's closed. Sorry. :)
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
