can't equip Namarra

Post by Rabik »

I killed Galen and retrieved his fancy little rapier but my rogue can not equipt it. It nots red like unusable items are and it doesn't give a message it just doesn't equip when you ask it to. Is there some skill or feat requirement for this item? Its a rogue weapon so he should be able to use it as far as i can tell. Anyone know? Item is called
Namarra (neversleep) +1

The only thing I can think of offhand is that you are trying to equip it to a small rogue. Do you have Neeshka yet? Can she use it? Are you playing a gnome or halfling (or one of the other small races) rogue?

Rapier Duelist

Actually my rogue is human and I did try it on the demon girl too. She had the same problem. Good news is for some reason when I came back to my last save today it worked fine. Go figure. I had another question though. I wanted to make my rogue a duelist. I have all the prerequisit skills and feats but its not available to him. I'm assuming the prereqs in the book are wrong. He's lvl 7 rogue parry12 tumble11 and has mobility weapon finesse and dodge as well as a base attack bonus of 7.

Thanks

A level 7 rogue should have a BAB of 5. That's your problem. You'll need to wait a couple more levels.
