Presented here in no particular order are several questions I've had in the game so far.
1. Is there some way to determine what I need to craft items? I'm not talking enhancements here, I mean what sort of material do I need to make a simple longsword?
2.How do you get enough money to make crossroad Keeep work!?! Those things are expensive! Especially the road upgrades, which are a high priority for me (Currently, I'm in act 2 around Arahvn, or however it is spelled)
3. Is there any way of determining what sort of ore sample Pentine will give you for reachign a vein without running back to the keep (and furthering the timer) and checking?
4.Poking around the temple of seasons, I beat the winter test fairly easily, and then I picked the lock to the north, unlocking a statue. Now it won't let me take the other tests!!!!!!! Fortunately, I have a previous save, but did I screw anything up horribly?
5. Is there any possible romance with Neeshka? She certainly acts possessive enough towards the protagonist (at least if you're male)
6.In Old Owl well, Simmy asks for some Adamantine dust, and says it's available in the orc held mountain areas. I've torn them apart, and found bupkis. Anyone have some help for me?
7. Is it just me, or does nicking the Blade of the Gladiator (Longsword+2 with 1d6 acid) from that arms merchant on the docks make you really strong? It's a much better weapon than anything you'll find until about the trial.
8. I hate the Luskans. Has anyone come up with a mod that would take place after the game is over where we get to knock over their stinking city? I would play that.
Nothing more for now, but I might come back with other idiocy.
Just joined this forum, and I hope I can be a (somewhat) productive member of the community.
Several questions (MAJOR SPOILERS!)

1) You can examine the molds. I believe they say how much is needed for each item. A type of item always needs the same types of materials, save the metal is different.
2) Money really shouldn't be much of an issue, if you just do not buy a lot from random merchants. Otherwise, let the improvements wait until chapter 3.
Some merchants, however, do pay better price then others, therefore selling most of your items in Sand's shop until it runs out of money will net you more then if you just sell to some random merchant. Shop around so to speak to see the price differences.
3) Don't think so, but you should always report veins back to the keep anyway, once you have "time" to do so.
4) Don't know - have you patched your game?
5) No.
6) I do seem to recall it being a bug/dead end quest; fixed (rather removed) by a patch. Do you have latest patch installed?
7) Subjective, but the weapon has nice statistics.
8) Dunno.

4) There's a thread on this. Skipping the battles doesn't appear to hurt you any, except for the xp loss from not fighting things.
