i just did this sub quest, where i wnet to a fort in search of a rare mace for a man, however it was a trick after obtaining a fake key i realised that i had participated in the cruel domented game of some freaky orc! to my dismay the man had always intended to kill me, but the joke was on him as i soon dropped him like a low level bandit!, after completing this sub quest i was extatic i had obtained a full set of ebony armour and a glass mace and i was very happy. however shortly after i ventured into a cave/tomb, and i stumbled upon a Skeleton guardian and champion i was quite shocked to say the least i eventualy killed the champion to find that he had not only had a total combat Enhancement but had also had a total items boost, so i had leveled to 16 and found some better eqipment however the game had produced an even more formidable foe for me to attack, i ventured into a simple tomb and it was like being a rat and being dropped in a snake pit,
ive heard story of brave heros who destroyed the threat of oblivion and then all the creatures upon the plains of tamriel, is this true ?
also ive now got full ebony armour and a glass mace, however using a helpful tip from a internet source ive been able to make myself 2,500,000 does anyone know of a town/place that i could purchase armour with better stats than ebony?
also im level 17 now shall i stop training skills and go right to completing the game? no more sub quests?
and finaly ive heard rumours of a soul stone that nether runs out of charge, this would be a great resource for me as incredibly powerful as the weapons ive collected are their theyre charges dont last too long!
and does anyone know any place that i could enemeys to loot ultimate gear i need something to give me the upper hand against these new tougther foe's!
nooo!!! the monsters are all stronger now! (SPOILERS)

Please don't put stuff like this out in a thread without a SPOILER tag in your title--just as the sticky thread states at the top of the forum.
I'll change this one for you. If you don't do it in the future, though, your posts may vanish.

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Yep, creatures and loot level up with you. There are several threads in the forum complaining about and/or praising this feature, so you could use the search feature if you're interested in other people's strategies for coping. If you're on the PC, there are also several mods that change the way the leveling works (check the Oblivion Mods sticky thread).Shadow warrior wrote:i had leveled to 16 and found some better eqipment however the game had produced an even more formidable foe for me to attack
Destroyed the threat of Oblivion, yes. All the creatures in tamriel, probably not (they're random, so you never run out of hostile NPCs and creatures in the wilderness or in most caves & ruins).ive heard story of brave heros who destroyed the threat of oblivion and then all the creatures upon the plains of tamriel, is this true ?
The only armor better than ebony from a pure protection standpoint is daedric armor, although glass armor is almost as good and much lighter. For the most part you can't buy either one (you can usually only loot it from the bodies of fallen enemies).also ive now got full ebony armour and a glass mace, however using a helpful tip from a internet source ive been able to make myself 2,500,000 does anyone know of a town/place that i could purchase armour with better stats than ebony?
IMHO from around level 15 to 25 or so is when the game is hardest. At lower levels (below 10) the enemies aren't as tough, and at ultra-high levels (above 30) they eventually stop leveling up with you. If you 've come this far I'd suggest leveling up to at least level 30.also im level 17 now shall i stop training skills and go right to completing the game? no more sub quests?
That's the daedric artifact Azura's Star. You get daedric artifacts by quests at daedric shrines. Spoiler:and finaly ive heard rumours of a soul stone that nether runs out of charge, this would be a great resource for me as incredibly powerful as the weapons ive collected are their theyre charges dont last too long!
Spoiler
You'll get a major hint to the location of Azura's shrine when you do the main quest, because you need to find a daedric artifact and give it to an NPC. It's in the mountains north of Cheydinhal. Personally, I wouldn't give up Azura's Star because as you mentioned this is a very powerful and useful item. Keep it and give him a different artifact.

Can the answer to this question be "No"?
