Noobie needs help

I read thru some of the posts and didn't find this already here, so someone
please help me. I just got my NWN2, and it seemed to install alright. But when I tried to run it, I got the message that it could not find any compatible
Direct3D devices. Huh? help...please

They mean compatible video cards. Are you perhaps trying to run this game on a notebook? In any case, it would probably pay off to update your video card's drivers. Maybe they're not being recognized properly.

Have you checked that your video card meets the minimum requirements to run the game. Not all video cards, especially Intel chipsets, are supported. Your card needs to be fully directX 9c compatible.

I have heard of a bug where you get an error message if you are trying to run the game with a 128mb video card, but I am not sure if this is what it says or not. If not, yeah, I would update your drivers and see if that helps.

I am able to run the game on my laptop which has a 128mb card and I have never experienced any problems.
