Ok, here's the deal - I have just retrieved the Moon and Star for the main quest. My strength was up to 100 (by gaining levels) then got the gloves (?) that fortified my strength up to 121. Since my visit to Tel Fyr and the corprusariam, my strength is slowly dwindling so that now it's only 110. This of course is making me lose how much I can carry (from 605 to 550).
I've looked at what I'm wearing - some glass armor, Helm of Clavicus, some constant effect boots and jewelry - nothing that suggests that it would reduce my strength. I've tried to use restore strength to no avail. There isn't any marker on the bottom right corner in red (or anything that suggests loss of attribute. Anybody have any ideas?
Help! My strength is waning!

You can't restore attributes above 100, because you are fortifying it to 110 it thinks that your strength isn't hurt. You need to take off all your fortifying trinkets and then cure desease/restore attributes; then you can put your amulets and armour back on.
