Chameleon and Sanctuary

Post by philty »

Hi there,

How do Armor Rate, Concealment % bonus and Sanctuary 'stuff' interact? Is sanctuary a sort Armor Rate bonus?

help me understand what each of these does: Chameleon gives you 'concealment', and sanctuary makes you 'harder to hit'.

?

I guess the lack of combat calculation examples makes it harder to understand. Can anyone help on this (or point in the direction) pls ?

Thanx!

I don't think any of those spells raises your armor rating.

If I recall corectly when you cast the shield spells from alteration that does. I think concealment and sanctuary both make you harder to hit and I think they do it by separate mechanisms. So if you have 20 percent chameleon on you are considerably harder to hit, but if you throw a 20 pt sanctuary spell on top you are even harder yet to hit.

Sorry I don't know the nuts and bolts of the calculations..
