Highcliff Ruins (locked door)

I'm doing the friendly method, i have slaan as a buddy running with us. i reach a door that i try to open but i am faced with a 26 / 29dc roll. everytime. i cannot open the door. (the one at the top of the map where lizard folke are supposed to be?). i took out everything else.

how do we remove spells or the effects of negative constitution and dexterity?

If you're working with Slaan, then I don't think the door is supposed to be locked. Or maybe clicking on it should start a dialogue. You might want to load your game and try again.

To remove negative effects, resting or lesser restoration should work.

It maybe be that you simply haven't killed all the enemies yet. On my first run through the game, that door stayed locked until I'd taken everyone out, then it was suddenly unlocked.

I had no trouble with that door.

I am also pretty certain that I didn't kill everything in there.

I DID kill the Shadow Priest lot, And the Zombies that were in the side rooms, first, tho....
