Spirit of the Woods is DEAD... now what??

Spirit of the Woods is DEAD... now what??

I missed the antidot when I entered the woods. After fighting the Spirit of the Woods and talking to it I resurched and found the antidot but when I returned to the glade the Spirit [deer] was dead. Any way I can complete this quest?? Thanx....

When i did this quest i saved the Spirit of the Wood but when i spoke to the Druids the only option was to tell them it was Dead....bug? I was well miffed with that result.

I had some problems with this quest, myself.

Apparently, You need to have the antidote in your inventory BEFORE talking to the Spirit of the Wood, or the game defaults to you killed the spirit.
