This forum is to be used for all discussions pertaining to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, its Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles expansions, and any user-created or premium modules.
It's completely un-playable as is. Graphical errors and when the game locks up there's nothing to do but turn off the comp. I tried starting a new game just now and I got to the part where the Emperor said something about knowing me. Then no more. My computer should be more than capable of running this. But I'll look in to dis-connecting from the web and closing a lot of the programs I have running. Any other thoughts?
Edit: Did that and I got quite a bit longer. Like two minutes more in to the game. Then the gren flickers started appearing and moments later the computer locked up.
Another edit: So I looked at the official forum and found a suggestion to that my HP-printer might be ****ing up my game. I'm going to try something with that later. It's just never been this fubar'ed before.
Edit yet again: That seemed to do the trick... It's been a while since I've played this game and I had forgotten about that... Thanks for all the help...
