Problems shutting down

Post by Asher »

When ever I go to close oblivion I get that this program has encounter a problem and must shut down immediatly message and it asked me if I want to send a report. does it do this to everyone or just me? so far I have not had any issues with loss of data or problem in the game but I fear that it may lead to that in the future. any ideas?
I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other gods you will understand why I dismiss yours.

It's pretty 'normal', Asher. Happens to most of us. Seems to be a Windows issue with the game programme. Do as it says, and send the report off to Windows. Whether it will do any good is another matter...

Happens all the time. The only data loss I've noticed is that if I save a game, exit immediately, and get the error, sometimes that particular savegame was corrupted. So now I save, then wait a couple minutes or fast-travel to another location before I exit, and my savegame is fine even if I get the error.
Can the answer to this question be "No"?
