SPOILER: Swamp next to Westhaven

Post by Lucita »

SPOILER !!!

Happened to me after the fort quests...Thought it might interest some people...

Highlight the lower thread area for the spoilers.

I went back to Westhaven after I completed the Fort Quests because of the document you are finding in the cementery dungeon ( says something like: Near the swamp lot's of new bodies to make followers from ). So when i got there I see that everything looks okay and went back to the traveling screen. Just to make sure I didn't forget anything I went back to the swamp ( where you found the silver sliver in the beginning ), I was immediatly attacked by lizardfolk. I checked the map and saw that the whole area was different from first time. More lizardfolk, a few large and one giant spider and a lizardfolk nest to explore ( with lot's of goodies ).

More spoilers...

This might be related. When I went back to West Harbor at the start of Act Two, a couple people told me how Bevil had gotten beat up in the swamp, but that he wasn't talking about the matter. However, I couldn't find Bevil anywhere, and I wasn't allowed to go back into the swamp. So maybe there's a quest here that you can do after leaving the town but before triggering Act Two.

Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

You're confusing the west harbor swamp ruins area with the swamp cave area to the east of the tavern. That's all.
