cant find temple of tyre SoU

Post by freespeech »

I have finished the original NWN campaign, and am now working through the SoU expansion with a new character, a dwarven monk and at your suggestion I have decided to not use a henchman or a familiar if i can. Something, which would later die, nailed me with a wisdom drain, and all of my searching has led to here - to beseech the masters. Here's my question: Do you know where the temple of Tyr or a similar healing facility is in Chapter 1?

The Harper who intervenes in the opening scene, Ayala Windspear, will heal you, and as long as you have at least one focus crystal in your inventory you can teleport to her at any time during Chapter One. She is in Master Drogan's House. (The ingredients needed to make focus crystals are easy to find)

Regarding henchmen.... I have found that their AI is much improved over the original campaign. Also, with the expansions you can control their inventories.
When you get to the Interlude you will have access to a new henchman... and he is well worth taking along for the ride :D

btw, Welcome to the Game Banshee forums :)

Thanks Dragon Wench. I have seen your posts before, they are both insightful and respectful to us new NWN players. Out of the thirty or so posts that have borne your name, not once have I sensed condescension on your part, and for that I am eternally grateful. However, in all honesty I do not believe that my question was worth your time. (I believe that a sentence like that can bear the marks of both present and past tense, but I could be wrong - I just like the look of it.) Thank you for your time and the welcome that you have so graciously sent my way.

It was honestly no trouble at all, but you are welcome :)
Game Banshee has never been one of those forums that is rude or condescending to new gamers, and people are generally very helpful. It is one reason I have stayed around for as long as I have.

Anyway, have fun with the game
