Unique Armor and Weapons **possible Spoilers**

Post by Asher »

Ok I just got Oblivion workering on my PC and I am about 20 hours into the Game and I love it even more then I loved Morrowind but I was wondering if there is any unique pieces of Armor or weapons in thisw game. Like in Morrowind I had the dragon Bone armore and the Helm of Orean Bearclaw. Is there anything in this one like that? Is So where do I get it. I perfer Heavy Armor.

Welcome to Oblivion...

There's great armor and weapons to find and I'm not going to give you any spoilers. I will caution your enthusiasm though, as you may have discovered when playing Morrowind, the armor you enchant yourself will likely be better than the stuff you find.

The best unique armor and weapons I found by doing the Deadric quest. These are done by finding shrines to Deadra lords, and doing whatever they tell you to do.

Well I dont know enough about this game but ai know that in Morrowind that alot of the stuff youcould enchant was better then the stuff you found but there were exceptions like the Helm of oren Bear claw and the Royal signet ring and the Dragonbone armor and the Umbra sword. and that is the type of stuff I am looking for.

The only reason I put up the spoiler thing was incase someone decided to post a spoiler. I perfer not to have any but it happens exspecially with a topic like this.

You can get several unique weapons doing the Fighter's Guild questline (spoiler and the Helm of Oreyn Bearclaw, too!), and cool heavy armor for finishing the main quest. Depending on how you play it, your choice of a unique sword or heavy shield from the side quest involving the Jermane brothers in Chorrol (ask NPCs for rumors).

In particular, you can get nice swords from the Mephala & Boethia quests (spoiler: and Clavicus Vile, if you're willing to risk his wrath), and a sweet heavy shield from Peryite.
Can the answer to this question be "No"?
