Where can I get fuel for the car?

Well, I got my Highwayman. Thank the powers that be for trunks. I've got WAY too much loot.

Anywho, I just recharged it with the cells that the mechanic threw in when he fixed the car and sold it to me, but now I can't find any cells for sale anywhere.

Also, will this thing run on laser ammo?

It will run on both Micro Fusion Cells and Small Energy Cells, although you need more Small Energy Cells to fill it up then Micro Fusion Cells.

The power cells that run this thing, are mostly bought down in NCR and San Francisco. I'm pretty sure that you can get some from the merchant (the gun store guy) in Vault City; in fact, I think this guy is a very reliable source for these power cells.

You can get these cells from miscellaneous sources, but have you played any of the serious random encounter bandit caves? If you wander around, you'll hit these. And in all of them, you get lots of power cells. They can be tough to play, but very "profitable."

I don't get a lot of random encounters, and most of them are wierd.

See, this guy has Luck 10 and Jinxed. Nothing but wierdness happens around him. For cryin' out loud, the Rat God killed HIMSELF.

Anywho, random encouters are rare, and they're usually traders, or people wanting food. I've also smacked into a ghoul, who then told me about a truckload of bottle caps out in the desert somewhere.
