dagon shrine spoiler help please

Hi,

I have got as far as releasing Jeelius and grabbing the Mysterium Xarxes. When I try to escape I keep ending up back in the same part of the shrine as I left and then I am killed by the mythic dawn acolytes. Could someone give me some directions to help me get out of the caves? or some help about how to stay alive!

I can't give you explicit "turn left at the big rock" instructions, but I know you can't go back the way you came. You eventually end up back at the entrance by coming out the gate that was down the passage past the actual shrine door (the one that was locked when you first entered the cave). Try using the tactical map tab on your quest journal. As you've noticed, the place is crawling with Mythic Dawn, so sneaking and chameleon/invisibility magic are handy. If your character's not exactly the "knight in shining armor" type, you can use your new Argonian friend as bait to draw them out before they ambush you. (I was bound and determined to keep the little idiot alive, so I had to resort to casting paralyze other on him so he wouldn't run ahead, then using detect life spells to avoid getting ambushed and let me set up sneak attacks on each pack of lurking Mythic Dawn). He wasn't happy about it, but he lived.
