I'm stuck with one of the side quest in Liam's Hold in the Darkness over Daggerford module. In the tavern there is a young woman who has a fancy machine called a fantabuliser. She thinks its been sabotaged as there is a piece missing and asks you to find the missing piece. I've asked around the residents of that town but nobody has any dialogue referring to this and I haven't got a clue where I'm supposed to look. Anyone know how to finish this quest or, preferably, can give me a hint to get me going in the right direction?

The person you are seeking is somewhere in the area that is to the east of Liam's Hold (sorry, but I can't remember the names correctly). You'll find a man there (somewhere in the central part of the map) a he will point you in the right direction.
No wonder I couldn't find it - I explored that area before going to Liam's Hold and never thought of going back there again.
