firespout room

I have killed everthing in the firespout room and can't get out. I downloaded the v1.4 patch and still nothing. I am standing on the floor looking up at 3 ledges. How do I get up or out? If I have to reboot from an earlier save how do I do that? The only save listed is on the load screen is there a file I have to bring up in my program files? HELP

I don't think the patch helps if you download it after experiencing the problem.

The game gives you 10 slots in which to save your game. If you only used one slot, and if that save was in the middle of the fire spouts trial, then you'll have to start over.

I presume you have stood on the "lift" that comes down to ground level after you have killed enough of the monsters?

If everything is done spawning run to each of those fancy raised diagrams on the floor and see if that brings down the lifts.
