Yuuzhan Vong Possibility (possible spoilers)

Post by wiseguy21690 »

I know that the topic has come up before but iw wasn't really elaborated on much. Some say that Hanharr's "jeedai" is a link to the Yuuzhan Vong, but after talking to him he says that he picked it up from the Hutts. In Kotor 1, Canderous mentions the ice ball he fires on that is really a strange ship that they chase to the edge of the galaxy, and then it enters interstellar space. If you talk to Darth Traya in the final confrontation she says that Revan had left the galaxy to fight at "the end of all things". Notice that Revan made sure that the Republic was left intact, more than likely a precaution in case he/she failed to hold off the Yuuzhan Vong and discourage them from coming to the galaxy in the near future. If Malak destroyed all the infrastructure of the Republic and Revan failed in interstellar space, the Vong could sweep in with no resistance. I think Darth Traya hinted at something else about the Yuuzhan Vong, but I can't recall it at the moment. Did things seem to add up like this for anybody else?

I always kept hearing about this Yuuzhan Vong guy back at the KOTOR 3 forum. Anyway, from what I've read back there, that guy apparently seem to have existed after the events of Episode 6 so I doubt that he would have existed during the Knights of the Old Republic era, unless that could be his ancestor or something.

The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. Yuuzhan Vong is a race of humanoids that invade the galaxy 25 years after Episode 6, so they probably existed 4000 years before it. There is an entire series of books about the New Republic's wars against them. They come from another galaxy to that or the New Republic in search of a new homeworld. Although it may be that the enemy in Kotor 3 is these "true Sith" that Darth Traya mentions in the confrontation.

Aargh! My apologies. I always mistook it for some guy's name. Truth is, I've never read any Star Wars novel before so its easy for me to get mixed up pretty easily. :( About the true Sith, I'm not sure if its them, though. It could be another race of aliens for all we know. Since there is no word as to whether there will be a KOTOR 3, we might never know who or what the True Sith are.

the Vong were also stripped of the force because of hoe *evil* they were. so maybe there is a possiblilty that revan and the exile stripped them...? this is all speculation of course. but it is a thought. perhaps the Yuuzhan Vong were once the True Sith. who knows but i like the idea.
