alright i just found out that there is more to the fingers of the mountain quest beside getting the book.Because ive done everything else in the game.

I gave the book to the argonian a long time ago, but wile i was messing around and stealing from the mages guild for the fences in the theives guild, I found the book in the argonians chest and i accidentaly pressed X taking everything in the chest instead of A. When i found out about the rest of the quest i went to talk to earana so i can steal the book for her and all she says is "I grow weary of waiting, where is my book" and thats it, but the book is in my inventory still.

I have no idea wut to do sum1 plz help thanx in advance

i believe that after you give the book to the argonian that the option to give it back to the girl disapears.

you have to go and tell her that you gave it to him. then you can steal it back.

If you told her you were not interested, she will never make the Quest offer again.

im not sure if i did but, i think i found the problem, i didnt know but apperently i had been suspended from the mages guild(wich i dont think should be possible seeing i am the arch mage).

Could this be the problem.
