I think part of it has to do with the exact wording chosen. Also, how you respond. The differences might be subtle, but you respond differently to females and males. Males and Females respond differently to males and females as well. Then there's Azeroth who is male and female.

Never! Texas will have succeeded long before that could happen! No offense to the Arizonans, but I kinda hate it here. I much prefer Texas; however, I'll be here in AZ for the next 4-5 years. If I continue to bash Arizona, will you kick me out? *hopefull look*

How do I respond differently to women and men? I've worked with, and for, both. I've discussed the same topics with both. Can you point to specific elements in my writing that are directed at only one sex?

Not without going back and looking at all your posts and I have not the time, nor the initiative, to do that. A lot of it is in comparison to other people here. I can't think of any specific examples, though. It's rather subtle and not everyone would notice it. Even when they do, it's more likely subconciously that they notice it and so, though they come to the conclusion, they have not given concious thought to the data they used to reach the conclusion.

I've noticed Fable that when you are talking about females you use the word "she" a lot and when you are talking about males you use the word "he" a lot. Insightful.

Fezek is very astute eh Fable? Anyway, while on the topic of guy and girl, I would just like to share my personaly injury. While running earlier, I unfortuneatly oulled my groin...

Ouch. @Aegis, you're not going to change your name to Aegia, by any chance?

Calling all the women "toots" is a dead give-away.
That there; exactly the kinda diversion we coulda used.

But I never called them "toots." I called them "honey," or "sugah sweetums." Or "hot mama." Are these inappropriate forms of address?

Why, @Viv, you so misunderstand me. And thank you for the compliment.
Still--not to force the matter, but--for all anybody knows, I could have been a flirting lesbian. But I recall posting a few times under the BG2 area about male/female stereotypes, where it was pretty plain my opposition was being stated from a male perspective.

Well, for the record, it appears I may be the only one who thought 'She's a bloke!'
Sorry Fable But not that it ever made any difference. Maybe it was your sensitivity that led me to consider you female
Why do we need to consider anyone as male or female? Why do we need to categorize? Why could I not have though Fable to be a nice 'it'? Human nature I suppose to want to feel comfortable with what (or whom) they are dealing with - usually causes the need to categorize...
Anyhow, like I said - it doesn't matter that you are a bloke

My reason for wanting to "categorize" is so I know which pronound to use. I prefer not to have to say things like "Fable said Fable went to get Fable's library book from the library in Fable's town"(though I'm not sure when I would say THAT, it's just an example).

Boring old New Jersey that had a female governer, and a good one she was.
Male Dominance? Ofcourse males are superior, Foul said so.
But the question is should we listen to him?
The logical answer would be no, but this is SYM and we aren't too bright.
