Any one played bg1 online? i always wanted to, whats it like? anyone want to play it ?

I've never tried myself either, but I would like to try it someday.

Stupid question time, how does actually work? Does each person in a group control a person?

Have never played it myself either, but by looking at the blurb when playing several players on my own computer, it seems that one player controls some aspects of what other players can do. e.g. whether they can shop. The other players then control their own character. I would suggest that you try playing it in multiplayer mode yourself, so you have some idea what to expect when you go online.
