*Possible Spoiler*
As the title says, I was wondering if it is still possible to influence the Handmaiden (enough to become a Jedi) even if I'm playing a male character on the dark side? The reason I ask is because based on the FAQ's I've read it seems that she gains most of her influence through "light side" options in conversations...
Can my DS char influence the Handmaiden to become a Jedi?

I'm not sure. You may end up playing more with Visas instead, but you can always try. Gaining influence still drags her down to your alignment, and you can compensate easily later.
You might want to search around threads that have mentioned her before... perhaps someone else knows something?

Its mentioned before but not specifically IIRC, all you need to do with handmaiden is to not talk to her, you dont want to lose influence and make her hate you. be seminuetral with visas, and fight with handmaiden (the training sessions), three times, ask her every time you gain a level/beat a planet, the last sesion comes at lvl 18, after you fight her she says some stuff, then exit the conversation and go talk to kreia, she will tell you about handmaidens mother being a jedi knight, blah blah blah, go talk to handmadien about her mother, she will give a long monologue, agree with everything she says, and she will ask you to train her, say sure ill tain you, and you can train her to be a dark jedi gaurdian, only problem is she still only gains influence from LS actions, something that should be fixed for kotor3, if and when there is one.
If God did not exist, it would be necessary to invent him.

I've been finding it a bit dificult (Just got off of Telos), being a DS character gaining influence with anyone, except Atton. I find I really have to be picky with what I say, especially to Bao-Dur. If I try to gain influence with them on purpose, I gain LS points, which I don't want. It's definately a different gaming experience being a dark sider.
Sometimes I do what I want, most of the time, I do what I have to.

Yes, this is possible... I have done many times myself, although it is alot harder than training her to be a Jedi...
If you are really keen on gaining Influence with the Handmadien - be sure not to take her out of the ship, just incase you preform some kind of cruelty that she may not agree with. Fly planet to planet, finding the Jedi after each planet allow her to train you and when the time comes you should be able to train her in the ways of the Dark Side... In some ways it's alot easier than any other compainion such as Atton and Bao-Dur. I usually try and stay on the path of the Light until I have enough Influence, then I show my true colours and train all into Sith!
