The Great Heist glitch for 360? (Spoilers)

I have made it to the area with the statue that needs to be opened with the arrow. However, the walls that are supposed to be moveable do not go down. I have gone into the Hall of Epochs and pushed that button in the very depths of the area and yet when I go back to the top the walls are still up and nothing has changed. Have I gone to the wrong area? Is there another button to push? Is this a glitch? What have I done wrong!? Is there perhaps a cheat or spell that could get me past those walls? Please Help!!

Oh yeah, am I supposed to be at a certain level for this quest? Are the walls timed and I'm supposed to have a certain speed to get back to the top in time?

first you do go through the door to the far left and push the button at theright.Now go down the stairs there is now a new passage,go through and fight of any enemies like normal there will be another button now go all the way back up.have you done all of that.and no its not timed or theres no certain lvl. and also when your shooting there arrow save before and keep trying because its hard i recomend aiming at the statues head (and stand inbetween the stones ounce u get past the walls
