The Adventure of Weasel the Cavalier

Post by Weasel »

~The Adventure of Weasel the Cavalier~

I started out with no idea of who I was...I saw my father killed...I traveled with a friend, I barely knew to get answers.

I meet people in my travels who joined with me...we faced troubles and some died...still I lived...I searched and I dreamed.

I saw things other people hadn't...I helped people in need...still I searched..still I dreamed.

I came to know I had a brother...one who tried to kill me...one who had a past the same as mine...still I searched...still I dreamed.

I meet my brother in combat and killed him....the blood of my father flowed in my blood...still I searched...still I dreamed.

I black out for a while...to be awaken to pain...no idea where I am...just pain.

I see a friend from the past...a friend who has been with me since the beginning of my tale...she is babblin....the dreams...the search...what has happened...

We make our escape with few answers and a new friend...only to be separated again..

I beginning my new search...a search for my friend...I find my self in a strange town and go to the nearest inn...I look around and get attacked in the inn...I see a darkness overtake me.................

~The journal of Weasel~

The adventures....the trials...the people who have fallen in my wake.

Posted by Minsc the only survivor of the inn fight.

The motivation to play Bhall has left me. More pretty bells and trinkets will not cause me joy. More levels...whoopie

~The Day of Minsc~

I leave the inn where Weasel the Cavalier fell to his death....Boo was scared....I tried to comfort him...

Boo and I run...knowing Weasel's killers would follow to finish the job...

The day darkens....Boo and I decided to rest..I turn and look at the sky...AAHHHHH

~As reported by a street urchin of the events that happened the day the moon fell.~

The end.

@Weasel: I feel the same way - not much motivation. I've had ToB for 1½ week and I'm not out of Irenicus' dungeon yet :D

I understand you Weasel .I felt the similar ..(well , altough i download it cause i couldn't wait anymore for that new spells)After playing a few hours i felt that i am getting bored . I remember the first time i played SOA . I played the game for 17 hours without a decent break(only pee and coffee breaks) until i passed out. It was not the same with TOB.

Now ,I will try to motivate you a little ..
We are assuming that you will continue with your SOA party and your protagonist Cavalier .

1)Start reading Dragonlance again .Remember Sturm and his son Steel Brightblade ..
null"Est Sularus Oth Mithas"
"My honor is my life"
2)Watching Ridley Scots's Gladiator may be helpful .
3)Remember the beatiful half-elf druid .. Recall your last nıght with her ..
4)Remember Minsc and Boo ..
5)Think of the special abilities and weapons which can depicate the victim in one hit .
6)Don't let Sarevok making you jealous about himself .(It happened to me once , i found myself leaving the game and attacking Sarevok trying to convince my self that my chararacter is stronger than him .)

I will continue posting for more motivation .. ;)

I'm looking forward to BG3. Some nice low level characters to play with and a brand new story, brand new adventure! :D

Hopefully we don't have some devine blood any more. I'd rather be some ordinary Schmo off the street with a desire to do the ordinary in great ways! :D

Or should that be to do the great in ordinary ways ;) :D
Cartoon Law III
Any body passing through solid matter will leave a perforation conforming to its perimeter. Also called the silhouette of passage, this phenomenon is the speciality of victims of directed-pressure explosions and of reckless cowards who are so eager to escape that they exit directly through the wall of a house, leaving a cookie-cutout-perfect hole. The threat of skunks or matrimony often catalyzes this reaction.

What the hell is BG3.
Are you talking about NWN. I'm really looking forward to that. I don't believe i'm going to buy tob, because i'm sick of playing high level characters, having my mages blasting enemies with death fogs, my fighters meleeing demon knights, my theives backstabbing for a 100 damage, my clerics dominating liches. I want to go back to the old stuff. Fighting goblin bands and ogres, and BG1.

I like the good ole' low level adventures as well, but, I can never leave a story unfinished, so ToB was high on my list to finish.
