How did you find Gamebanshee?

Anything goes... just keep it clean.

Isn't that VTM:BL?

Sorry, I was making sure I knew which game you were talking about. ;)
Why couldn't it be something interesting, like you were looking for mutilated rhino pron?
Rhino Pron huh? Sounds interesting, might check it out sometime. Never even heard of pron to begin with. Is it anything like Tron?

Nah, I'm simply unable to type some words correctly because my brain is telling my hands that the word is spelt differently behind my mind's back. ;) :p
I think we might have had threads like this before, but I can't think of a good key word to put in the search engine :o Anyway, new peoples here and all, so it doesn't matter :D
Yep, we had many threads like this before, but as you say, new people and all, so here goes:

After I finished playing BG (I don't remember if it was 1 or 2) I was looking for a walkthrough to see if I had missed anything, and then I found GB. At the time, I was on sick leave for ulcer and my lab was changing particle accelerator which meant no experiments could be performed, so I wasn't as busy as nowadays.

I found the walkthroughs for BG1, BG2, NWN, Diablo II and Fable.

I actually found the forum when trying to get more info about Fable. Lurked at Fable and NWN forums for a couple months then started posting a couple things in Fable. Then I found SYM and it's all been downhill since then. ;)

Had an issue with Icewind Dale 2 if I remember right so googled it and ended up here. Best search ever :D
And He whispered to me in the darkness as we lay together, Tell Me where to touch you so that I can drive you insane; tell Me where to touch you to give you ultimate pleasure, tell Me where to touch you so that we will truly own each other. And I kissed Him softly and whispered back, Touch my mind.

The first time I stumbled upon GameBanshee was when I was googling for the Fable: The Lost Chapters game guide last October. Didn't sign up until I started playing Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic this March.
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price

Searching for help in GB. I was visiting the site for awhile, only started visiting the forums when I found a strange animal's hide and had no idea where it came from.

Then just posting in the game forums for ages (and envious of the high post counts), found SYM, and a combo of toe-dipping and encouragement got me spamming.
In memorian: Fiona; Ravager; Lestat; Phreddie; and all of those from the 1500 incident. Lest we forget.

No, but I envied the unique names, so I thought a high post count allowed that.

Your asking me to remember what I was doing last october? Well, lets see, it was october, of last year, before november, and after dec... no, after september, yes, so I finished KOTOR II for the umpteenth time, and was starting on actually beating the main quest in Morrowind for the first time, which can only mean one thing. I was searching for information on KOTOR III. Or. I was looking for reliable, helpful information on Morrowind. Or. I felt threatened by Gargamel and so grabbed all of my febreeze and flew away. Most likely the first one though. Or. The second one. I havent seen Gargamel in a few years. So probably not the third one. But you never know.

You think that's bad. I joined GB in 2001, and Rav has *many* more posts than I..despite being here for just over a year

I found GB in 2001 after I had completed BG2 for the first time, and so was looking for ways to get more out of it. Later on I joined, fell prey to the Slurrs, and was somehow shanghaied into SYM from the original BGII forum.

EDIT - Ah yes, I remember now. Ode "invited" me into the Rolling Thunder for a drink after I reached post #50...
