questions on dxun

Post by wing »

im on dxun, and iv read that you can gain influence with bao-dur by promising not to tell anyone about kumus. when i help him down, he just runs away and i dont get to promise anything. does it have to do with my light side mastery? second, i think this is just a glitch, but i killed the zakkeg, took its ear, and i cant talk about it to anyone now. the journal entry is blank. it says:
Dxun:

and thats all. iv looked in my inventory and the ear is right there. any idea of how to fix it? i hav a feeling that i'll have to load to before, but i dont really have any previous games before telos saved. when i fought the zakkeg, i got (insert name of first battle circle competitor here) to join me but the zakkeg killed him. just thought i'd mention that.

So what I would do is go on xbox live and see if you can't get some patches because it's a definate bug :)

As far as the ear goes, just go back to the captain at the gate & talk to him. Maybe the glitch will work itself out. I have never had to load or "use" the ear to get the results, but I am on computer, not xbox.

Influence with Bao .... that spot is also an influence site for Handmaiden, Mira (I think), and deciple. If you have any of them in the party along with Bao, then no one gets the influence. A trick I usually use when I reach a known influence spot is just bring the character & pc. With only 2 in the party you are certian the influence goes to the right person. If going dark, then go into solo mode before a known spot & you will not lose influence with the characters. I went solo right in front of handmaiden & blew the guy up with no negative effect.

would you stop saying that, not all xbox versions have "tons of bugs".

anyways to answer the origanal post,
you dont have the option to promise anything once kumus gets down. he says, "I have just one request, please don`t tell anyone about this." and he just runs off.

I've noticed that if you choose the LS option here you are automatically 'teleported' to a conversation that is so far from your companions that they don't hear you and you get no INF. The DS option doesn't have this problem...

did you do the mini-quests or anything like with the phase pulse converter or anything if not it might unlock the quests if you go around and do the stuff you can then if one shows up they may all.

You get the influence by speaking to the quest-giver with Bao-Dur in the party, and NOT telling him about Kumus.
