HELP!!! on Thieves Guild Quest (poss. Spoiler)

I have completed the Elven Maid quest and have returned to meet Armand, however, he never shows up to our rendezvous point. I've even gone back to my last save and done the quest again, and still he never shows up. Any clues as to where I can find him? This is really annoying, because I can't move on to my next quest.

See if he is at home. Its the house next to the one for sale at the waterfront. He may not talk to you but at least you know he is still around. He only comes to the rendevouz near midnight.

he goes into hiding talk to a guild member and they tell you to go to methredel (look in you quest log it will tell yo i think)

After you steal the statue, Lex turns up the heat on the waterfront. As Ashes2233 mentioned, Armand goes into hiding and you need to talk to Methredel. If you can't find Methredel right away, wait (in 1-hour increments) on the waterfront and she'll eventually find you.
