Spies Guild (possible spoiler)

Hey guys, once again i am asking stupid questions but here we go....

Is the spies guild the thieves guild??? If not can you tell me where to join!

if the spies guild is the thieves guild please let me know!!

There is no spies guild. There is a Theives guild and a Dark Brotherhood.

The Theives steal and the Dark Brotherhood kill. I think that's Commandments 5 and 7 for those keeping track.

To join the Theives you need to steal something and to join the DB you have to kill an innocent person. If you do those things you will be approached by a recuiter.

To join the Blades, Just tell Jauffre yes when he asks you. It is early on in the main quest so you cannot miss it. I have seen no advantage to joining other than you might have more access to Cloud Ruler Temple. There are no quests that you do unless you count the main quest.
