KOTOR II PC problems, Windows giving me love messages

Ok, heres whats happening: I've played KOTOR II for about 30 hrs just fine untill i'm about to finish Nar Shaddar and the game crashes with a windows error, you know "This program has decided to kick you in the pants, please leave a message after the tone" etc.

I've tried everything from patching the game to changing settings, reinstalling and im out of ideas. I have no idea why the game crashes when its about to load another part of the game.

It happens right after Kriea makes friends with Hanharr. The interesting thing is that ive tried it on 2 other computers with XP and it crashes at the same spot, so maybe its not my PC, but just the save file.

ANYWAY, what i'd like is for someone to download my save here:

and save the file after the cut scene ends and send it back to me or worse, tell me if it crashes your game. If someone who's bored could do this, i'd be grateful like, forever...nar, im lying, but it would still be awsome for someone to work out why its skewing me over...

Have you tried cleaning the game disk? Sounds funny that it would do the same thing on different systems.

I did try that, and i tried the game with a crack to see if the CD made a difference and it didn't.
