Ahdarji's Heirloom - help with basement

Ahdarji's Heirloom - basement spoiler

I'm in Leyawiin trying to recover Ahdarji's stolen ring. I have been told "It seems that there is a secret passage that leads from the basement to the Countesses private chambers. If i can find it, that passage might be a safer way to sneak into her room." I can see the passage in the basement, but can't find the entrance. Any suggestions/solutions? Thanx

Solution: There's a barrel along the south wall with a lever inside.

Ahdarji's Heirloom !SPOILER!

Highlight:
I have acqired the ring and the first problem is that there are two Ahdarji rings! Is that possible? The second problem is that I cant pass it to that lion-like woman(I dont know what her name is).She keeps telling me to get the ring. There is no "I have the ring" option in the dialogue part...).
Any ideas?

If I remember correctly you need to head down into the basement and find the levers. I believe there are two of them. First lever I think is in a busted crate or barrel nearby where the secret door should be. Flip that and your through to the dungeon torture chambers. Then there is one other lever for another secret door on the opposite end of the passage. This lever is on the wall above your head near the ceiling. Flip that one and you should be good to go.
