Magicka Question

've noticed some of the more poweful spells have magicka requirements close to 350+, with my high elf the max I could achieve without The Atronach is exactly that and thus have no access to the greater spell abilities.

I was wondering if there was a way to increase my magicka to such standards as to summon a storm atronach etc without potion gobbling.

Actually, there's an easier way to go about it. To lower the spell's magicka cost, raise the skill that governs it.

For example, if a destruction spell costs 300 magicka, if you get your destruction to 100 the cost of the spell would go down to 250 or maybe even 200.
