I feel like a real idiot here..but how do I name url inks so that instead of an obvious url address the link is actually a grammatical part of the sentence?
For example, I am thinking of adding a line to my sig that goes something like:
For fun and general chatting check out the [name]Speak Your Mind Forum[/name]
Don't feel bad, I'll join you. At some point this year, the way it was done changed, and I haven't been able to figure it out properly since it changed.
"You can do whatever you want to me." "Oh, so I can crate you and hide you in the warehouse at the end of Raiders?" "So funny, kiss me funny boy!" / *Sprays mace* " I know, I know, bad for the ozone"
You paste the URL, then you choose a title and those words have the link attached to them.
Yeah, that opens a box for the url and on screen it will show the url in both the url location and where it shows the name visible to everyone else. That one will be highlighted so it can be easily deleted...
And just another handy trick with that button. If you select some text, then hit the button, it will assume the highlighted text is the heading, so you can write up your sentence, click the button, and you only need to paste the url.
In memorian: Fiona; Ravager; Lestat; Phreddie; and all of those from the 1500 incident. Lest we forget.
