@ Darzog, In my experiences, the managers never take the time to properly train me to react to the common situations one in my position will encounter. Then wonder why I end up with so many questions, or it takes me forever to do things. Without training, I need to figure it out on my own, and will likely screw up and cost the company money and time in doing so until I figure out how they want something done to their liking. Unfortunately, many people, in many jobs and careers are unsuited to their profession. Like most teachers I encountered.
I guess our experiences are just different. All of my jobs have been in professional companies in engineering disciplines and I've always gotten the training required and had managers that know what they are doing. I guess it takes a manager that is smart enough to realize the importance of training and equipping someone to actually do it. If they don't recognize that an employee is more effective with the right support, they won't offer it.

EDIT: how timely that What It's Like would come on during one of our conversations.

Mag, hopefully the UPS guy showed up. If not, here's another webcomic you can check out. I just read this and had to share.

I got busy with seriousness. :p Yeah, that is odd though...my mother is a high-end accountant for a hospital, and she deals with the crap I'm dealing with. You are one lucky bastard.

I love that song. Good stuff!

That strip....the funniest part is the easy to miss lines from the roaches at the bottom. No the UPS guy didn't show. Now I have to call and bitch. I've been waiting 3 weeks 1/2 weeks for that damn package so I can use my new computer that is collecting dust. Not happy....

Woohoo! I didn't get any software, by my grandparents are giving me their recliner since they bought a new leather one. Sweet! They've going to Ireland for 10 days next wednesday too. I so wish I could go.

Recliners are nice. Now that we have our new couch (which is HUGE) my bomber-jacket leather recliner is sitting in the office. :(

So you've quit the revisions for now, but did you get much done?

No, not that much this evening. I needed to unwind more, I suppose.
It shouldn't matter, tomorrow's exam should be relatively easy and certainly easier to revise.

Okay, listen up.

I want DJ_Venom to stop posting and start having a life, so sign off and go.
Ravager wants slade to leave for the same reasons.

Now go.

Shoo! Get out of here punks!

If you don't like our decision go complain with Ravager.
