Well i have decided to go off and finish the main quest.Now i was just wondering when i do finish it (dont tell me how it ends' :) ) Am i still able to go off and carry out all the other quests or does it just end?

You are still able to do other quests. There's only one thing that bothered me though: You can no longer travel to Oblivion.
